Phebes, Hackney
Phebes in Hackney was a key 1970s reggae club and one of the places where Jah Shaka made his name. A rare piece of film of 1970s London reggae, Roy Shirley performing at Phebes, was shot for the 1976 TV documentary series "Aquarius".
