Castlemorton Common, 1992
In May 1992 dozens of sound systems, including Spiral Tribe, DiY Sound System, Bedlam and Circus Warp, set up on Castlemorton Common in the Malvern Hills. An estimated 20,000 to 50,000 people partied for nearly five days. The event led directly to the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994, and thirteen members of Spiral Tribe were tried for public order offences and found not guilty.
